The Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) football edged the host Father Judge Crusaders (Philadelphia, PA), 22-21 in Saturday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the face the Berks Catholic Saints (Reading, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 10. Pope John Paul II will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Saints enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 20-13 non-league loss to Executive Education Academy Charter School (Allentown, PA).
