Ohio High School Soccer - Philo overwhelmed by West Holmes
September 3, 2022: Millersburg, OH 44654 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the West Holmes Knights (Millersburg, OH) and the visiting Philo Electrics (Duncan Falls, OH), saw West Holmes's soccer squad triumph over Philo by a margin of 9-0.
The Knights now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Comprehensive for a Ohio Cardinal test on Thursday, September 8. West Holmes will meet a Rams squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Philo drops to 1-3 on the season. The Electrics host River View (Warsaw, OH) to meet the Black Bears in a Muskingum Valley test on Thursday, September 8. The Black Bears come into the test with a record of 4-2. River View lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Zanesville (Zanesville, OH)
