Ohio High School Soccer - Triway trounced by Smithville
September 3, 2022: Smithville, OH 44677 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Smithville Smithies soccer squad scored a close 7-0 win over the Triway Titans.
The Smithies (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Norwayne (Creston, OH). The Bobcats go into the Wayne County battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Norwayne was overwhelmed by Chippewa (Doylestown, OH), 2-1, in a league test.
With the loss, Triway drops to 1-3 on the season. The Titans host Manchester (Akron, OH) to meet the Panthers in a Principals test on Wednesday, September 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-2. Manchester won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Canton South (Canton, OH)
