Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Elko Indians (Elko, NV), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies face the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Reno will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Greenwave enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).

The Indians now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Elko will face a Miners team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Miners record now stands at 2-0.
