Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Holy Redeemer nudges Wyoming Area
September 3, 2022: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Royals confront the MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 3 challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. Holy Redeemer will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).
The Warriors now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilkes-Barre for a Wyoming Valley 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 6. Wyoming Area will confront a team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA). The record now stands at 3-0.
