Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) backers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE), 3-2 in a non-league contest.

With the triumph, Gretna moves its record to 15-0 on the year. The Dragons travel to Millard North (Omaha, NE) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 3. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 14-1. Millard North won 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE)

In their next game, the Patriots play the Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) in a A District contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Millard South will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Storm come into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
