In Saturday's non-league contest, the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Bellaire Cardinals (Bellaire, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 3. Fort Bend Austin will attempt to better on its 13-15 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 5-17 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX).

With the loss, Summer Creek moves to 11-15 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Klein (Klein, TX) to battle the Bearkats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 6.
