The Galax Maroon Tide topped the host Northwood Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Maroon Tide now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Narrows for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 7. Galax will confront a Green Waves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 1-3.

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Council (Council, VA). The Cobras enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Council was knocked off by Castlewood (Castlewood, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
