Illinois High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon can't hold off Warrensburg-Latham
September 3, 2022: Mt. Vernon, IL 62864 The Mt. Vernon Rams volleyball team (Mt. Vernon, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL)
The Cardinals (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pana (Pana, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Pana was edged by Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams encounter the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) in a South Seven challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Mt. Vernon will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Orphans come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL).
