Pennsylvania High School Soccer - South Fayette can't get by Avonworth
September 3, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 In Sunday's non-league battle, the host Avonworth Antelopes soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the South Fayette Lions.
The Antelopes (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Warriors go into the WPIAL AAA 4 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Central Valley was nudged by Freeport (Freeport, PA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Canon-McMillan nipped Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
