Kentucky High School Soccer - Muhlenberg County toppled by Warren East
September 3, 2024: Greenville, KY 42345 Warren East Raiders (Bowling Green, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Warren East moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to meet the Scotties in a District 15 test on Thursday, September 5. The Scotties come into the test with a record of 2-6.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Butler County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Muhlenberg County will meet a Bears team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Bears record now stands at 0-6.
