Maryland High School Soccer - St. James nudges Shalom Christian Academy
September 3, 2024: Hagerstown, MD 21740 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) and the visiting Shalom Christian Academy Flames (Chambersburg, PA), saw St. James's soccer squad hold off Shalom Christian Academy by a count of 2-1.
The Saints (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD). The Spartans enter the Freelance battle with a 0-2 record.
Next up, the Flames confront the Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Shalom Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Defenders enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA).
