September 3, 2024: Delta, CO 81416 Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Delta Panthers (Delta, CO), 24-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Palisade advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Rifle (Rifle, CO) to play the Bears in a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Rifle won 45-8 in their recent non-league battle against Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO)
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gunnison for a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. Delta will play a Cowboys team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.
