North Carolina High School Soccer - Watauga knocks off North Lincoln

The Watauga Pioneers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting North Lincoln Knights to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 5. Watauga will play a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, North Lincoln moves to 4-3 on the year. The Knights host Huss (Gastonia, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 4. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Huss won 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)
