The University City Centurions volleyball squad (San Diego, CA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA)

With the win, Christian improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Patriots host Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Otay Ranch lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA)

The Centurions now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scripps Ranch for a City - Eastern battle on Wednesday, September 18.
