September 3, 2024: Portland, OR 97220 The McDaniel Mountain Lions edged the visiting McNary Celtics volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mountain Lions face the Tigard Tigers (Tigard, OR) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 5. McDaniel will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Celtics (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Sprague (Salem, OR). The Olympians go into the 6A Central Valley game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Sprague nudged Philomath (Philomath, OR), 3-0, in a non-league game.
