September 3, 2024: Tunica, MS 38676 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS) and the host Rosa Fort Lions (Tunica, MS), observed Palmer's volleyball team top Rosa Fort by a count of 3-0.
The Dragons (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Side (Shelby, MS). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, North Side was knocked off by Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Lions battle the North Panola Cougars (Sardis, MS) in a Class 3A Region 2 contest, on Thursday, September 5. Rosa Fort will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS).
