Colorado High School Flag Football - Legacy tops Mountain Range
September 3, 2025: Broomfield, CO 80023 The Legacy Lightning felled the visiting Mountain Range Mustangs flag football team by a score of 31-6 in Wednesday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lightning play the Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans (Aurora, CO) in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Legacy will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 49-0 non-league loss to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO).
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Overland (Aurora, CO). The Trailblazers go into the 5A/4A Centennial test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Overland knocked off Eagle Ridge Academy (Brighton, CO), 18-6, in a non-league challenge.
