September 3, 2025: Elkton, VA 22827 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league contest between the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) and the visiting Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA), witnessed East Rockingham's football squad knock off Central Woodstock by a tally of 27-0.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Page County beat Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 50-13, in a non-league bout.
The Falcons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Broadway for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Central Woodstock will encounter a Gobblers team coming off a 36-8 non-league loss to Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Gobblers record now stands at 0-2.
