September 3, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23323 Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad overcome the host Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, King's Fork lost by Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Hornets face the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 10. Deep Creek will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA).
