North Carolina High School Soccer - North Mecklenburg nudged by Garinger
September 3, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28205 Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Garinger advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to clash with the Colts in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Colts come into the test with a record of 6-2. West Jessamine lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)
Next up, the Vikings play the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A outing, on Tuesday, September 9. North Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.
