Vermont High School Soccer - Spaulding toppled by Rutland
September 3, 2025: Rutland, VT 05701 Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT), 12-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Rutland moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT) to confront the Bulldogs in a SVL-A outing on Friday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Crimson Tide confront the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) in a Capital outing, on Friday, September 5. Spaulding will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax, VT).
