Missouri High School Softball - North Kansas City bounces Notre Dame de Sion
September 3, 2025: Kansas City, MO 64114 The North Kansas City Hornets softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Notre Dame de Sion Storm to 3 in the Hornets non-league win on Wednesday.
The Hornets now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park Hill for a Class 4 District 16 battle on Thursday, September 4. North Kansas City will play a Trojans squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Staley (Kansas City, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.
The Storm (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO). The Guardians enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Michael the Archangel overcame Sherwood (Creighton, MO), 5-1, in a non-league challenge.
