September 3, 2025: Dearborn Heights, MI 48127 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) and the host Crestwood Chargers (Dearborn Heights, MI), saw Taylor's volleyball squad nudge Crestwood by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Taylor improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Griffins travel to Melvindale (Melvindale, MI) to encounter the Cardinals in a Downriver battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 1-0.
The Chargers now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Divine Child for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 4. Crestwood will meet a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Central Catholic (Toledo, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 8-6.
