The Discovery Canyon Thunder volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Elizabeth Cardinals to 2 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Thunder now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Manitou Springs for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Discovery Canyon will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.

The Cardinals (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Woodland Park nipped SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
