Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV) and the visiting Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV), observed Indian Springs's volleyball team hold off Western by a count of 3-2.

The Thunderbirds (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Word of Life Christian Academy (Las Vegas, NV). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Word of Life Christian Academy was tipped by Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors battle the Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Southern - Desert contest, on Monday, September 8. Western will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV).
