The Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Harding University for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout on Thursday, September 4. Berry will clash with a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-8.
