September 30, 2021: Georgetown, DE 19947 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) and the visiting Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE), saw Sussex Academy's soccer squad knock off Laurel by a count of 4-1.
The Seahawks now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Delmar for a Henlopen - South test on Tuesday, October 5. Sussex Academy will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Laurel drops to 5-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to meet the Spartans in a Henlopen - South test on Tuesday, October 5.
