September 30, 2022: Hurley, VA 24620 The Betsy Layne Bobcats thwarted the host Hurley Rebels football team by a count of 36-28 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Betsy Layne upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bobcats host Raceland (Raceland, KY) to encounter the Rams in a 1A District 6 outing on Friday, October 7. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Raceland won 48-28 in their recent non-league outing against Greenup County (Greenup, KY)
With the loss, Hurley moves to 4-2 on the season. The Rebels host Honaker (Honaker, VA) to encounter the Tigers in a Black Diamond outing on Friday, October 14. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 4-2.
