The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Weatherford Christian Lions (Weatherford, TX) and the visiting Bishop Gorman Crusaders (Tyler, TX), observed Weatherford Christian's football squad bounce Bishop Gorman by a count of 55-22.

The Lions now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Lubbock Christian for a TAPPS Division IV District 1 contest on Friday, October 7. Weatherford Christian will play a Eagles squad coming off a 34-28 league win over Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.

Coming up next, the Crusaders play the Mercy Culture Prep Royals (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS Division IV District 1 contest, on Friday, October 7.
