In Friday's non-league game, the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) football team knocked off the host Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ), by a final score of 38-21.

The Jaguars (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions come into the 6A Desert Valley game with a 2-2 record.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cactus for a 5A Desert West game on Friday, October 14.
