Kentucky High School Football - Knox Central gets by Bourbon County
September 30, 2022: Paris, KY 40361 The Knox Central Panthers football squad scored 62 points and restricted the host Bourbon County Colonels to 61 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corbin for a 4A District 7 battle on Friday, October 7. Knox Central will play a Redhounds squad coming off a 38-35 non-league win over Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 6-0.
Coming up next, the Colonels play the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a 4A District 5 battle, on Friday, October 7. Bourbon County will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 44-19 non-league win over Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY).
