The Mt. Pleasant Oilers football team (Mt. Pleasant, MI), was tipped 22-21 in Friday's league challenge with the host Central Wolves (Bay City, MI)

The Wolves (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Trojans come into the Saginaw Valley - Blue challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Traverse City Central nipped Dow (Midland, MI), 62-26, in a league challenge.

The Oilers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Traverse City West for a Saginaw Valley - Blue challenge on Friday, October 7. Mt. Pleasant will meet a Titans team coming off a 35-0 league loss to Midland (Midland, MI). The Titans record now stands at 1-5.
