The Hillsdale Hornets (Hillsdale, MI) football defeated the host Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI), 34-26 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Dundee Vikings (Dundee, MI) in a Lenawee County bout, on Friday, October 7. Hillsdale will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 34-7 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MI).
