September 30, 2022: Durant, IA 52747 The Durant Wildcats football team (Durant, IA), was ripped 49-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA)
The Bears (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals come into the 1A District 5 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Regina trounced Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA), 50-0, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mediapolis for a 1A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 7. Durant will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-21 league win over Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
