In Friday's league match, the visiting Sunnyside Grizzlies football squad scored a good 35-20 victory over the Eastmont Wildcats.

In their next game, the Grizzlies clash with the Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match, on Friday, October 7. Sunnyside will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Cadets enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 21-7 non-league win over Davis (Yakima, WA).

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their match against West Valley (Yakima, WA). The Rams enter the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, West Valley ran past Hermiston (Hermiston, WA), 49-42, in a non-league match.
