The Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA) football defeated the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 35-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Lake-Lehman Knights (Lehman, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 7. Pittston will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA).
