Washington High School Football - Rainier defeats Ilwaco

September 30, 2022: Ilwaco, WA 98624

In Friday's league match, the visiting Rainier Mountaineers football squad scored a good 38-14 victory over the Ilwaco Fishermen.

In their next game, the Mountaineers clash with the Raymond-South Bend Ravens (Raymond, WA) in a 2B Southwest Washington match, on Friday, October 7. Rainier will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Ravens enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 20-7 league win over Forks (Forks, WA).

The Fishermen (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA). The enter the 2B Southwest Washington match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Pe Ell/Willapa Valley ran past Morton/White Pass (Morton, WA), 41-8, in a league match.
