Mineral Springs Hornets (Mineral Springs, AR) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR), 66-30 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mineral Springs improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Dierks (Dierks, AR) to battle the Outlaws in a 2A Region 3 test on Friday, October 7. The Outlaws come into the test with a record of 5-1. Dierks won 39-12 in their recent league test against Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR)

With the loss, Lafayette County drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR) to battle the Lions in a 2A Region 3 test on Friday, October 7. The Lions come into the test with a record of 3-1. Mount Ida won 28-0 in their recent league test against Poyen (Poyen, AR)
