The Western Reserve Blue Devils topped the visiting McDonald Blue Devils football team by a count of 27-19 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Blue Devils host Springfield (New Middletown, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet outing on Friday, October 7. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Springfield won 41-14 in their recent league outing against Waterloo (Atwater, OH)

With the loss, McDonald moves to 2-5 on the season. The Blue devils host Lowellville (Lowellville, OH) to confront the Rockets in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet outing on Friday, October 7. The Rockets go into the outing with a record of 7-0. Lowellville won 41-8 in their recent league outing against McKinley (Sebring, OH)
