The Miami East Vikings football squad scored 21 points and restricted the host Troy Christian Eagles to 14 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a Three Rivers battle on Friday, October 7. Miami East will play a Pirates squad coming off a 37-14 league win over Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 5-2.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH) in a Three Rivers battle, on Friday, October 7. Troy Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Polar Bears enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 22-15 league win over Bethel (Tipp City, OH).
