In Friday's league match, the host Rockridge Rockets football squad scored a good 36-24 victory over the Morrison Mustangs.

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) in a Three Rivers - Rock match, on Friday, October 7. Rockridge will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to Mendota (Mendota, IL).

The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Orion (Orion, IL). The Chargers enter the Three Rivers - Rock match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Orion dropped by Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 35-12, in a league match.
