The Ponderosa Bruins football team (Shingle Springs, CA), was ripped 63-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA)

The Hillmen (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras come into the Foothill Valley challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln trounced Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 48-0, in a league challenge.

The Bruins now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oakmont for a Foothill Valley challenge on Friday, October 7. Ponderosa will meet a Vikings team coming off a 59-21 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.
