The Sahuaro Cougars football team (Tucson, AZ), was ripped 57-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ)

The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Benson (Benson, AZ). The Bobcats come into the 3A South challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Benson trounced Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ), 62-20, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buena for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 7. Sahuaro will meet a Colts team coming off a 51-7 non-league win over Cholla (Tucson, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 3-1.
