Illinois High School Soccer - Peoria Christian knocks off Springfield Southeast
September 30, 2022: Peoria, IL 61603 Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers confront the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Peoria Christian will attempt to better on its 16-2 season record.
The Spartans now have a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lutheran/Calvary for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 1. Springfield Southeast will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-2.
