September 30, 2023: Newark Valley, NY 13811 The Newark Valley Cardinals (Newark Valley, NY) football edged the visiting Deposit-Hancock (Deposit, NY), 43-36 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Walton Warriors (Walton, NY) in a Section 4 D bout, on Saturday, October 7. Newark Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 55-8 league loss to Tioga (Tioga Center, NY).
The (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY). The Bobcats enter the Section 4 D bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Bainbridge-Guilford nudged Harpursville/Afton (Harpursville, NY), 40-0, in a league bout.
