The Pocono Mountain East Cardinals football team (Swiftwater, PA), was knocked off 41-18 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Louis E. Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA)

The Huskies (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA). The Mountaineers come into the Eastern Pennsylvania - North challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Stroudsburg knocked off East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA), 42-0, in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host East Stroudsburg South for a Eastern Pennsylvania - North challenge on Friday, October 6.
