September 30, 2023: Lyndon Center, VT 05850 The Rice Memorial Green Knights football team (South Burlington, VT), was beaten 51-30 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT)
The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Cougars come into the League 3 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Mansfield was beaten by U-32 (Montpelier, VT), 13-6, in a league challenge.
The Green Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Otter Valley for a League 4 challenge on Saturday, October 7. Rice Memorial will meet a Otters team coming off a 20-0 league win over Milton (Milton, VT). The Otters record now stands at 4-1.
