New Mexico High School Football - Rio Grande trounces Navajo Prep
September 30, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87105 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Rio Grande Ravens football squad scored a big 54-8 victory over the Navajo Prep Eagles.
In their next game, the Ravens clash with the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Rio Grande will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 50-0 non-league loss to Gadsden (Anthony, NM).
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Zuni (Zuni, NM). The Thunderbirds enter the 3A District 1 match with a 2-4 record.
