September 30, 2023: Orinda, CA 94563 Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) in a match, on Monday, October 2. Albany will attempt to advance on its 16-1 season record. The Gauchos come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
With the loss, Miramonte drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Benicia (Benicia, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a match on Thursday, October 5. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 2-8.
